you wander around a bit, quietly musing to yourself. as you walk, you come upon a plant, almost hidden.

its spread leaves remind you of weeds, and the flower itself is a purpleish magneta mixture. you reach out to touch it gently, when there is a loud 'NO!' and the heavy beat of hoofs pounding the ground. you look up, startled, to see a figure galloping towards you, mane whipped back by the wind. it grows larger and larger until you can see a large equine form, black body, magenta legs. navy wings are kept close to its body for speed, and white hoofs pound the ground. a silver mane is carried behind it, a lions tail flicking in urgency as it races towards you. it finally reaches you, and rears, putting itself carefully between you and the flower, its pure white horn keeping you back, away from the flower. purple eyes flash warningly at you, and it sidesteps away from the flower/plant, steering you away as well.

he glances at you then back at the plant, then to you again, a relieved look on his face. you blink, a bit confused, and the creature nods his head. "Please, please, please do not ever touch that! That is the dreaded Plantthatsgonnaeatme! It is a very rare plant, native only to certain parts of A. Enders, and can not thrive anywhere else**. Since it does not, many people who chance upon it are not forworn, and well..." your savior glances back at the plant. "Well, it eats them, really. Once it gets you, you're never free until it has eaten its full. Just a little while ago it ate and killed -again- Dark Shadow." you blink, a bit astonished at this 'eat and kill' information, but not actually very surprised at the victim... he goes on. "Anyways, now that you know, I'll introduce myself. I'm EdgeOfTwilight, a Wynd from the Place of Sun." EdgeOfTwilight nods his head once more, still looking a bit relieved about not having you be eaten alive--and dead too. you smile and nods as well in greeting, and suddenly he looks up, his eyes flashing. he sighs and apoligizes. "Seems like there's another traveller who has found another Plantthatsgonnaeatme! I must be off! Farewell!" with that, he gallops off. you blink once, then wander away from the Plantthatsgonnaeatme, determined not to be eaten.
