you continue onward through the never ending forest, and as you walk, the air seems to grow cooler, the wind picking up. a cold breeze winds around you, then is carried away. you watch the leaves in the trees result as the wind blows through them, its path easily followed. a cold whisper of the wind teases you, a thin whisp strays. you continue on, following the hidden path, vines and leaves from past seasons covering it from view. only the lightly beaten ground shows it is used often, and you follow it. the path curves around a large boulder blocking the way, and as you follow the trail to the other side, you pause. there before you stands a tall stallion.

large antlers make you pause, but his eyes seem calm as they watch you, not menacing. his coat is spotted, a snowleopards markings. even his wings have black and white feathers. a long snowleopard tail flicks behind him as he watches you. he says nothing, his eyes on you, not wary, shy, or curious, just watching calmly. finally he breaks the silence. "I am Snow Covering Distant Mountain, a Frondari stallion from the Nameless Forest." he nods his head low to you, then turns and disapears into the surroundings. you watch him go, then turn to leave yourself, but find the path splits two ways. you think for a moment, then go left or right.
